Fall Season
Whether you're returning to the ice or joining us for the first time, we're excited to kick off a competitive and fun season of high school hockey. Get ready for team spirit, skill-building, and great memories on and off the ice!
Ages
Open to all students currently enrolled at Elk Grove, Prospect, and Rolling Meadows High Schools.
When
The season begins with tryouts in August and runs through March, concluding with the playoffs.
Where
Home games are typically held at the Mount Prospect Ice Arena. Practices can occur at Mount Prospect, West Meadows, Nelson Sports Complex, or the new Elk Grove Ice Arena. Away games may be played at rinks throughout the Chicagoland area.
Practices
Teams practice 2–3 times per week, with a mix of evening and weekend sessions. Practice schedules will be communicated once rosters are finalized.
Games
Teams will play approximately 50–60 games during the season. Most games are scheduled on weekends, with occasional weeknight games as needed.
Jerseys
Club jerseys are required and must be purchased separately through our team vendor. Returning players may reuse jerseys from last season if they are in good condition.
*With the yellow jerseys being discontinued, all players will need to order the new white jersey this season.

Q: How are teams formed?
A: Teams are formed based on skill evaluation at tryouts, coach assessments, and roster needs.
Q: Can I play another sport or activity during the season?
A: Many of our players participate in other activities! We encourage multi-sport athletes but ask for honest communication about conflicts so we can support you and your team.
Q: What gear is required?
A: Full hockey gear is required, including helmet with cage, mouthguard, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants, shin guards, skates, and stick.
